First and foremost, we at Steward & Williams Funeral Home are ALWAYS available to help you and your family..
The State of Washington has clarified Proclamation 20-25 regarding funerals during Phase II of the reopening plan. Governor Inslee recognizes the critical role that funeral, embalmer and cemetery licensees play during this unprecedented time. Licensed funeral homes and cemeteries may conduct funeral services in a funeral home or graveside under the following conditions:
1. Hold indoor services at a place of worship with up to 25% capacity or 50 individuals, whichever is less, (excluding organization staff).
2. Maintain minimum six-foot separation between all employees, members, and visitors in all interactions and at all times.
3. Inform all guests that they must self-screen for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before arriving at the location.
PLEASE KNOW: This does not affect our ability to serve families in their time of need. We are allowed to host funeral services following the guidelines in Governor Inslee’s proclamation and recommendations made by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We remain available by telephone at 509-924-3141 24 hours a day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
